My name is Yvonne Bailey and I was born in the sign of cancer in 1953 to a working class family in Cardiff , South Wales in the UK . The areas in which we lived were poor, but the people were rich in character. When I look back I realise how incredibly colourful life was then.

I have had spiritual experiences from a child, especially experiencing my spirit leaving my body, although it was only in later years that I understood what had been happening. Like most of us, my environment shaped my life and I did what most of those around me were doing, i.e. getting married in my teens and having a child in my early twenties. At the time I didn't realise that the person I was in my teens would be far removed from the person I would grow to be. Hence, I divorced when I was still young and had responsibility for not just me, but my child as well. I worked in the legal world and was privy to tragedy and human frailty but this was other people's lives, and I was cushioned.

 

When I got to my thirties life had become a huge difficulty. I had made so many horrendous decisions, which had led me down the wrong paths. I was in pain and didn't know where to turn and was no longer cushioned. I was frightened of me and my inability to be wise, and I was frightened of life. However, I knew there was this inner voice that had always cautioned me and when I repeatedly didn't listen, things went badly for me. I found myself pleading inside my head. ‘Please help me, I don't know who or what you are but I want to listen'. The reply was almost immediate, and my spiritual journey of discovery began.

When I look back at the coincidences and key moments that helped to shape my life, I am humbled. To know that this power had been working with me, trying to get me to listen, is amazing. I now work as a professional spiritual medium and my life experiences are invaluable, as nothing I am ever told fazes me. I have seen and heard it all before. I offer one to one consultations to those who are bereaved or in trauma, and I also provide spiritual guidance and life style coaching. My main work is teaching spiritual education and development, helping others to connect to the universal power to enhance their lives.
